Webmaster Paddling Adventures for 2009
Come Paddle With Us On Friday & Saturday - November 13 & 14, 2009
We'll take groups of folks on a couple of local lakes and rivers in North Florida on these two days. Take a relaxing break on some cool, refreshing waterways. Meander through North Florida on quiet, smooth, slow-moving waters.
On Friday evening we will explore the waters of Cherry Lake at sunset. Kayaks are provided free of charge by the camp.
On Saturday we paddle down the beautiful Withlacoochee River (providing that the water levels are high enough). We will travel from Cherry Lake to the river by van and car-pooling. The kayaks will be transported for us, for a small fee. We paddle downstream. An easy time is guaranteed for all!
Both trips include all of the necessary equipment (boat, paddles, life jackets, etc.). You may bring lunch, snacks, drinks, etc., and don't forget your camera!
Plenty of drinking water is recommended for all paddle trips; you need to stay hydrated.
