Patrol 54

These shots were taken by EM3 Barnett (a.k.a. EMC Barnett retired) prior to pulling in at PH at the end of Patrol 54 (circa 1980).  We were waiting for a slow target to get out of our way in the channel so we did slow circles in front of Waikiki to entertain the tourists.  You are looking at the last shot of the SSBN we knew and (loved?).  2 weeks later, she was dubbed an SSN.
